To catch the true ANZAC spirit this year, plan to be at The Union Hotel.
For more than 25 years, The Union Hotel in Waymouth St has been a traditional Adelaide meeting place after the ANZAC Parade… and Anzac Day 2010 will be no different.
As the spirit of ANZAC Day gets stronger each year, so does the tradition of celebrating the nation’s freedom at The Union. This year the public will be treated to the fine talents of local bands, along with a host of other live entertainment and great food.
Diggers old and young will be thick on the ground and part proceeds from the day benefit Legacy.
Waymouth St will be closed for the celebrations between 10am and 10pm.
Guests will be invited to tuck into the Legacy Club Sausage Sizzle, and the traditional Aussie fare of pies, pasties, and more.
As well as the Cornsey’s Five AA Allstars, Bay Big Band, S.A. Pipes & Drums and Mt Barker Pipes & Drums. Quite simply, there will be no better venue for live Anzac Day entertainment.
So on Sunday April 25, after The Anzac Parade, celebrate Australia’s freedom in style and join in the festivities at The Union, 70 Waymouth Street, Adelaide.
