On the back of last year’s sell out concert series, Apia are proud to bring you the 2014 Apia Good Times Tour that will have audiences rocking in their seats featuring a brand new iconic all star line up never seen before in Australia. Music legends Joe Camilleri, Richard Clapton, Russell Morris and Leo Sayer will tour around the country singing their legendary hits with tickets to go on sale Monday 3rd March through various outlets.

Kicking off April 30th, the Apia Good Times Tour will hit Warrnambool, Adelaide, Perth, Warragul, Hobart, Launceston, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Tweed Heads, Newcastle, Sydney, Darwin, Shoalhaven, Canberra, Shepparton, Melbourne and finish up in Geelong.

All legends in their own right, – but together create a show not to be missed. Apia is thrilled to bring these musical legends together and give audiences around Australia the chance to experience the good times! With countless hits between them, including Hit & Run, Girls on the Avenue, The Real Thing and You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, the foursome will each take the stage to perform a selection of their most memorable songs, before joining forces to play together for an unforgettable finale.

Back by popular demand for this tour is one of Australia’s most loved musicians Joe Camilleri, aka Jo Jo Zep or Joey Vincent. Camilleri is celebrating 50 years in Australian music in 2014 and doing so with the release of his 45th album, Certified Blue (April 2014). Camilleri has achieved numerous Top 20 hits recording as a solo artist with both Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons and The Black Sorrows including Hit & Run, Taxi Mary and Chained to the Wheel among others. He has also produced records for countless artists including The Sports, Paul Kelly & the Dots, Renée Geyer and Ross Wilson as well as his own bands. Camilleri was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame in 2007.

One of Australia’s foremost singer/songwriters Richard Clapton has a music career that spans 40 years. Clapton paved the way for three generations of songwriters to write about the experience of being Australian, becoming a tribal elder to younger artists like Jimmy Barnes, INXS and Cold Chisel. His track Girls on the Avenue reached #1 on the national charts and put Clapton at the top of his class. Having released 20 albums, which cumulatively sold over one million copies, Clapton was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1999. Clapton will release his memoirs later this year along with a deluxe boxed set to mark his 40th Anniversary Year.

ARIA Hall of fame inductee, #1 selling artist, Australian icon are just a few phrases used when describing Russell Morris. Having shot to fame in the 60s with Somebody’s Image, Morris enjoyed a string of hits that include Hush and the Bob Dylan classic Baby Blue. Morris and producer Molly Meldrum released Australia’s only true psychedelic #1 hit The Real Thing in 1969 before penning many more breakthrough hits including Sweet Sweet Love, Wings of an Eagle, Part 3 into Paper Walls and The Girl That I Love. Morris is enjoying great success with his latest album ‘Sharkmouth’ which hit the #1 position on the iTunes Blues Charts and The Australian Blues Radio Charts, won the 2013 ARIA award for best Blues n Roots Album and also received a Gold and Platinum Record. Morris’ highly anticipated new album is due for release in March this year.

A man who needs no introduction is Leo Sayer. This internationally acclaimed and talented songwriter’s career spans over 40 years. In the international music charts there have been over 20 top ten singles and five top ten albums, with Sayer also penning hits for Cliff Richard, Roger Daltrey, Tina Turner, Dolly Parton and many more. His universal appeal kicked off in the 70s and hit an all time high with his first US #1 You Make me Feel Like Dancing winning him a Grammy Award. Some of his other hits include Thunder in my Heart, When I Need You, Raining in my Heart, The Show Must Go On, More than I can Say, Train and Long Tall Glasses.

Apia Good Times Life Tour is proudly brought to you by Apia, by arrangement with Premier Artists.
