Stallholder applications opened this week and applicants are encouraged to get in quickly because there are lots of candlemakers in Adelaide. We stress, LOTS. And they’re a competitive bunch. Now in its eighth year, Bowerbird has a reputation for promoting and nurturing emerging and established Australian designers, makers and artists, who sell their wares in a dynamic and inspiring environment to thousands of attendees for three days each event.
“Stallholders come from all over Australia and don’t just receive a space, but a chance to become part of our design community and the support, exchange of ideas and opportunities this brings. We provide information and access to tailored professional development workshops, and encourage collaboration and networking opportunities at each event. The direct interaction with potential customers is also invaluable for these small businesses,” explains Jane Barwick, Director.
Bowerbird always seeks emerging and established creatives, and is also looking to increase the number of visual artists, photographers and makers of furniture, lighting, glass, ceramics and products for men this year.
