This September, Ondeen is joining forces with Mordrelle Wines to present an intimate evening with Argentinian guitarist Marcelo Dellamea, filled with enchanting music, and fantastic local food and drink.
Set amongst the picturesque vineyards of the Adelaide Hills, Ondeen’s heritage-listed homestead sets the stage for unmatched experiences that embody the heart of the Adelaide Hills. Join Marcelo Dellamea, and take in the stunning landscape, as he dazzles you with his extraordinary guitar skills and soulful melodies, in one of his few Australian appearances.
Ondeen’s Culinary Director, Kane Pollard and Mordrelle Wines’ very own Martin Moran are coming together to prepare an Argentinian BBQ. Indulge on authentic flavours and fire-cooked dishes, including fish, meat and vegetable options. Everyone’s welcome, so they will be doing their best to cater to any dietary preferences as well.
Located in Harndorf, Mordrelle Wines is a family-owned boutique wine producer. Their founder, Martin Moran has been surrounded by wine and wine-making his whole life, spending time at his family’s vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina in his youth.
Moran has been running Mordrelle since 2010 and was named in the Top 100 Wineries for the 2023 Halliday Awards.
The event will be held at the newly renovated Ondeen on Thursday, September 19th, from 6:30pm until 9:30pm. The event is a chance to explore the stunning Verdun property, which will be in bloom this spring, highlighting the natural beauty of the Adelaide Hills.
The five-hectare property of Ondeen is located only 3 minutes from Hahndorf and a short 25-minute drive up from the city.
Upon arrival at the event, guests can enjoy a complimentary drink, prior to being serenaded by the stunning sounds of Marcelo. Tickets for the event are priced from $38.
