Argo on the Parade are looking for a facelift, of an artistic kind!
The hugely popular cafe is on the hunt for three local creatives to work their magic on the walls that run on the side of the venue.
Each artist will be awarded $2000 to complete their concept.
Over the years, the walls have held sentimental value to locals on their daily walks and coffee catch-ups.
For Argo, the importance lies in their community having a piece of home whenever they visit.
That’s why the Argo community will have a say on which artwork created. Once concept submissions close, all concepts will be available for the Argo community to vote on and decide the finalists.
All applications will be evaluated on the following four factors below:
- COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
- THE POSITIVE MESSAGE
- COLOUR COLOUR COLOUR
- IMAGINATION
Submissions will be open until March 14 2021.
