Art at The Hart 2010 Artists Market is being held this weekend and is the largest arts market in South Australia. Featuring unique work  created by South Australian based artists, the market is sure to enable all those attending the chance to buy that special gift or one-of-a-kind Christmas present.

The Markets are being held along the Port River waterfront on Mundy Street, Port Adelaide with 70 artists from the Port region and across South Australia offering their creative work for sale.  Art at the Hart offers a fantastic array of paintings, jewellery, weaving, fashion accessories, mosaics and pottery, ironwork and sculptures.

To add to the interest and specialness of the market, all the artists will be there for people to talk to about their art and personally buy a piece of art from.  As an added extra, while you are browsing and talking to the artists, the kids can take part in the interactive workshops on offer.

Art at The Hart is held in conjunction with the atmospheric Celtica Festival that celebrates the rich and varied Celtic influenced cultures and traditions through music, dance, workshops and displays.  An extensive food court with bar service completes this inviting offering.

Art at the Hart is being held this weekend only, December 4th and 5th, starting at 11am and finishing at 6pm on both days – admission is free.  For more information, contact the Port Adelaide Visitor Information Centre on 8405 6560 or go online at www.artatthehart.com.au
