Do you ever have those Sundays where you just think ‘what will I do?’ Well we think we may have the answer to your indecisive problem…
The first Sunday of each month will see The Lion Hotel Kick. Start. Sunday. as they collaborate with a local Adelaide artist, designer, craftsman or entrepreneur to help ‘kickstart’ their career. Great huh? Even better, Glam Adelaide was invited to check out The Lions first collaboration with one seriously talented local artist, James Hopgood (aka Kameo), a graphic designer and aerial artist.
And that we did. Sitting back in the cool courtyard with a Sailor Jerry coconut in hand we sipped and stared in awe at the big screen, displaying Kameo in action live from outside as he unleashed his creativity, freely spray painting on top of a wooden canvas.
The creative juices were flowing, and so were the cocktails! Staying hydrated with coconuts and mojitos, we looked to the menu and went with The Atlantic Salmon. Continuing to watch Kameos masterpiece unfold we were shortly introduced to our very own, on a plate!
So if you’re after a Sunday sesh with a little bit of a difference then look no further than The Lion Hotel. Refreshing cocktails, a fresh new artist and cool vibes, yep that is ticking all of our boxes. Oh, and the delicious salmon… That ticked a huge box! We will be heading back for more of that.
