Artists’ Bar Opens Heart to Adelaide

Artists' Bar - croppedArtists’ Bar is opening their heart to you.

Pulsing with ephemeral beats of life and sensation, everyone’s invited to the Festival’s heart of hearts: the 2010 Artists’ Bar, an all night party with the stars, under the stars.

Enter along the old Henley jetty and plunge into a sea of people, marvels and memories. Indulge in a treat or a bite to eat from the Heart Bar, found under the hidden beams of the jetty, and be surrounded by the kitschy-cute electronic sounds of DJ TR!P. Follow the vast wall of video screens across the sweeping lawns to the Rotunda, which we’ve turned into a luminescent magic lantern of home movies Reel Life.

Above the Torrens, Cupid’s target shoots flames into the night sky and a huge anatomical heart by landscape designer, Kate Cullity, is alive and will slowly turn green in a garden of glowing Adelaide Festival flashbacks.

Drink, eat, laugh. Encounter your favourite Festival artist, or spot something out of the program to book next. You’ve got the The Famous Spiegeltent right here brimming with a full night of romantic and rambunctious entertainment starting with Julia Zemiro’s Comfort Zone, followed by La Clique and Paul Grabowsky’s free late-night program – The Grab Bag .

Enjoy it all to your heart’s content.

Where: Elder Park, Adelaide
