Friday 20 August 2010 is not only a closing date for the Independent makers and presenters program (Professional development and Project grant categories), it is also the round for the following opportunities only offered once a year…

Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi Japan travel fund – helps artists at any stage of their career to undertake arts-based projects in Japan.

Artists in residence – supports the hosting of outstanding local, national and international artists, in order to share their skills and knowledge with local practising professional, independent artists.

Fellowship – supports an established independent artist with the advancement of their professional career and arts practice.

Triennial project grant – funds for the creation of new work and innovative interpretation through a long-term, staged commitment over three years.
