So. It’s already February and you haven’t haven’t kicked off 2023 with a trip to Thailand, Bali, or Vietnam.
Firstly, same. But secondly – and more importantly – you can get your fix without leaving Adelaide.
Asia Oasis is hosting their first 2023 summer event by the sea with the Glenelg Beach Asia Street Food Festival on the stunning Glenelg Foreshore.
The three-day Asia street food festival will be stacked with flavourful feasts from more than ten Asian countries served from traditional Balinese huts, surrounded by colourful Hoi An lanterns and entertainment, including rich cultural performing arts.

Following the success of the Asia Street Food Festival last year, at Pinky Flat, you can once again savour and experience dishes that people claim they can’t live without, from salivating Lechon Liempo (roasted pork), bold and fragrant Laksa, to fresh seafood dishes that are just perfect for the ocean backdrop.
Don’t forget to save room for delicious summer drinks brought to you by Tropical Tea House, where you can get your hands on iced cold sugarcane juice, Japanese roasted mango green tea or spoil your taste buds with fresh tropical fruits that just hit differently.
Beyond the food and beverages selection, there will be live performing arts and music for those who search for connection with traditions and cultures, sing along and dance away while waiting for your orders, or simply just want to make the good vibe better.
The Asia Street Food festival is more than just an outdoor event. It is a celebration of shared passion for food, cultures and traditions through distinctive cuisines made from recipes that passed down for generations. It is a celebration of community, togetherness and diversity.
Between sunset till late, the colourful Hoi An lanterns will be lit up, boasting a charming and magical ambience – a gorgeous transition into the night. The vibrant colours set out to bring pure nostalgia and magic, so get your friends and loved ones together, capture the moments because well, we might not be able to relive the same moment twice.
