At Trove Of Treasures On Jetty Road

The October school holidays will be jam packed with treasures and treats for children with this year’s 2nd Great Jetty Road Treasure Hunt.

The popular Glenelg event will involve numerous Jetty Road retailers, who are stocked up with treasure to add to the children’s loot.

The event will run from Tuesday 2 October to Friday 5 October and will begin in front of the Beachouse on Colley Terrace, Glenelg.

The hunt has become a huge hit with families, selling out on four of the five days in the July school holidays.

With the $5 purchase of a treasure map and bounty collecting bag, children will be able to gather a vast array of treats including toys, books, confectionery and much more.

This school holidays will see the return of the swashbuckling seaman Pirate Pete and a face painting stall in which children can be transformed into a pirate boy or girl for the day.

The treasure hunt will start at 10am each day, but due to its popularity be sure to heave ho and get in early so you don’t miss out on your share of the booty!
