On the eve of the British Royal Wedding, a touch of royalty arrived on Rundle Street last night for the launch of Adelaide’s most exciting new Jewellery store, Aurum.
Aurum, the Latin translation for “gold”, is the destination for chic, high quality gold, sterling silver and natural gemstone jewellery, and offers handpicked pieces from around the world including Italy, Germany, Denmark, Mexico, Australia and more.
Sister store to Casa D’Oro; Italian for “house of gold” on King William Road, Aurum showcased their stunning collections of modern gemstones crafted in the rarest silver and gold settings.
The Rundle Street store came alive on Thursday, April 28 with flowing champagne and beautiful canapés as Aurum owner and master jeweler, Brigitte Zollo launched the boutique jewellery store in style!
Aurum was also delighted to introduce pieces by Danish Crown Jeweller Ole Lynggaard, the official jeweler to Crown Princess Mary and the Danish Royal family, which is offered exclusively to Aurum. Ole Lynggaard also sponsored a calf skin wrist wrap which was given away to a lucky raffle winner on the night.
The gorgeous boutique style store offers a large variety of unique pieces from 20 stunning jewellery ranges. Amongst the Aurum designers is commissioned local Adelaide jeweler Sarah Green who is thrilled to be working for the exciting new store.
“Aurum brings high quality sterling silver and gemstone jewellery to Adelaide in designs it hasn’t seen before. We’ve sourced jewellery from around the world focussing on the best in materials, unique design and craftsmanship”, says Sarah.
“When choosing the jewellery for Aurum, Brigitte made it her mission to bring exclusive brands and makers such as Ole Lynggaard to Adelaide. We aimed to fill a gap in the current market with our mens selection, having made some of our own pieces because it just isn’t available or easy to find in Adelaide.”
Green showcased several pieces in the lavish store, including stunning geometric chunky men’s rings which were among my favorites of the night!
Situated on Adelaide’s best shopping strip Aurum presents a jewellery experience like no other. With pieces starting from $30, priced up to $10,000, there is something for everyone!
