There’s one heck of a party happening in Adelaide this month but don’t be confused when I tell you it’s a birthday party for a local butcher. No, cupcakes, balloon animals and live music aren’t usually what spring to mind when you think of your average meat dealer but that’s exactly what you’ll find at Austral Meat’s first birthday celebration!
Because you see, Austral Meat isn’t just your average butcher. The family-owned-and-operated business has a strong passion for what they do and always has fun while doing it!
Although founded in 1986, Austral Meat opened the doors to a newly renovated store in Adelaide’s north exactly one year ago as an expansion of what was already standing. The reasoning was simple: to offer the same quality meat, cheese, and small goods but on a bigger and better scale.
And on Saturday March 25th, the team behind Austral Meat want to celebrate with you the best way they know how – with free meat! That’s right, they’ll be slinging sausage sandwiches and hamburger sliders all for free alongside birthday cake, fresh roasted coffee and plenty of entertainment.
You’ll also have the chance to win a pack of succulent Stone Axe Wagyu Beef. Simply spend $100 in-store on the day to go in the draw, which is easy to do considering the great range of products. More than just steaks and sausages, Austral Meats also stock a wide range of seafood, small goods, rubs, marinades and sauces, ready-to-cook meals and of course, the world-famous DickBuns!
Located in Gepps Cross, the site is also home to the biggest dry-aging room in South Australia, so if the free food and fun weren’t enough, perhaps feasting your eyes on that will tempt you!
