Australia extends international travel ban but local & interstate flight deals land

Over the weekend it was announced that the Australian government are extending the international travel ban for citizens and residents meaning overseas trips are still off the card until at least 17 December.

Over the weekend it was announced that the Australian government are extending the international travel ban for citizens and residents meaning overseas trips are still off the card until at least 17 December.

The federal government made the announcement on 2 September with limits on outbound international travel and cruise ship arrivals to stay in place for a further three months than initially expected.

While the likes of international travel is now further postponed, there is still a number of amazing getaways right at our doorstep with local travel in South Australia, and some interstate regions on the cards.

A number of flight deals have popped up in recent weeks with some pretty epic deals on travel across the nation as well as within South Australia.

Just last week saw crazy flight deals of $79 to Kangaroo Island, as well as Melbourne for $59 (granted they open up of course).

There is no better way to beat winter blues than planning your next springtime vacation, and now with the mix and match airline deal, escaping every day is just at the tips of your fingers.

Skip the ferry and impending sea-sickness and escape to the idyllic Kangaroo Island on a one-way $79 Qantas ticket or visit Port Lincoln and the stunning Eyre Peninsula on a one-way $108 Rex regional flight.

The bargain Qantas flights depart from KI between 13 September and 29 November 2021, with the regional Port Lincoln Rex flights to be booked anytime between 18 September and 10 February next year.

For those brave enough to book an interstate trip, flights to the Gold Coast, Hobart and Alice Springs are all retailing under $200.
