Have you ever sat in the audience of a cabaret show wondering how that could be YOU on stage? Or maybe you’ve performed cabaret before and want to develop and broaden your skills.

The Australian Cabaret Summer School is an intensive program designed to deliver all the training and support you need to create a ten minute original solo cabaret piece.

Working with industry mentors who will guide you through the processes of deciding on a concept, selecting songs, devising a script and polishing your presentation, the Summer School provides you with the tools and encouragement to guide you to a successful performance.

Each participant at the Australian Cabaret Summer School will receive individual sessions with vocal, musical and writing mentors in addition to master class opportunities and group workshops throughout the week.

The Summer School culminates in two Cabaret Showcase nights where each participant will perform the ten minute piece they have devised during the week with a professional musical director, in a cabaret venue with full sound and lighting production.

Participants of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to apply.
