Australian comedy trio ‘Sooshi Mango’ are returning to the big stage to thrill audiences with their Home Made tour, announcing new dates for encore performances in 2025. Garnering huge popularity, the group’s recent announcement follows their last tour’s 39 sold-out shows.
Scheduled for August, September, and October of 2025, the encore performances will take place across several major Australian cities including Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane, alongside a special show in the regional centre of Wollongong.
Making up Sooshi Mango is Joe Salanitri, Carlo Salanitri, and Andrew Manfre. They’ve captivated audiences nationwide with their unique brand of comedy that combines nostalgia and sharp satire aimed particularly at Italian-Australian family culture. Their act includes a variety of characters, skits, and musical numbers all drawing inspiration from their own family experiences.
This tour promises to feature fan favourites such as Johnny, Vince, Sam, and the portrayals of Italian-Australian mums Carmela, Angela, and Giuseppina. Audiences should be prepared for a hilarious performance filled with jokes that resonate with many, particularly those familiar with the quirks of suburban Australian families.
Sooshi Mango’s journey began in 2015 and since then has seen a meteoric rise in popularity. Their videos and online content have garnered over 1 billion views, while their Sooshi Mango Podcast has hosted an array of distinguished guests, ranging from sporting heroes to Hollywood celebrities and political figures. Their influence extends into the dining scene as well, with their successful venture into the restaurant business in Melbourne further showcasing their versatile talents.
This year, the trio also made significant expansions to their popular Melbourne dining establishment, Johnny, Vince & Sam’s Ristorante. After 18 months of operation, they announced the occupation of the entire building. The expansion includes a new cocktail bar and a private dining area, designed to emulate the ‘good room’ one might find in a venerable Italian-Australian household.
Tickets for Sooshi Mango’s encore tour are expected to sell quickly, given their previous performance records and broadening fan base. Those interested are advised not to delay securing their spots for what promises to be another memorable series of performances.
