Australian Distilling Co. has become Australia’s highest awarded distillery in the only internationally recognised spirits competition judged by consumers.
The premium craft distillery received 22 awards in the SIP Awards 2021 – the highest number of wins for any Australian spirit label in this year’s competition.
The SIP Awards is the world’s most competitive spirits competition and the only internationally recognised awards program that uses real consumers – rather than professional tasters – as its judging panel.
From a competitive field of almost 1200 entries, Australian Distilling Co. received awards across its stable of 13 gin labels and Adelaide Vodka.
These include its first Platinum SIP Award for Melbourne Gin, as well as three Double Gold Awards for Australian Distilling Co. Shiraz Gin, Adelaide Gin and Darwin Craft Gin.
The distillery also won seven Gold Awards, four Consumer Choice Awards, three Innovation Awards and three Silver Awards.
This is the third year Australian Distilling Co. has entered the SIP Awards. Across all awards programs, its total medal count is now 125 awards since 2019.
