After a five-year hiatus, sass & bide, the renowned Australian fashion label, has returned to Rundle Street this week.
It follows the closure of its Burnside Village store due to the premises’ major redevelopment. The brand’s move is to make sure it still has a strong presence in South Australia while the Burnside location disappears until 2025.
Now, sass & bide joins a string of new Australian labels which have recently taken to east end’s fashionable strip including Cue, Veronika Maine, Assembly Label, Daisy Says and Viktoria & Woods.
“We are thrilled to announce our return to the vibrant Rundle location with our sass & bide boutique, right in the heart of Adelaide’s city centre,” shares the sass & bide team. “We couldn’t be more excited to be amidst all the energy and buzz once again.”
The new boutique’s fit-out features the quintessential sass & bide vibe, reflecting the brand’s signature style. It’s a very minimalist space which welcomes you in with its hangings racks of the brand’s latest collections. The oak style parquetry flooring blends into the marble countertop which feels very reflective of their other boutique stores around Australia.
“As we settle into our new boutique, we look forward to creating a space where customers can immerse themselves in our world of fashion,” adds the sass & bide team.
sass & bide have been growing as a business since it was founded in 999 by best friends Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton. The brand quickly transformed from an underground phenomenon to a cult label with global recognition.
sass & bide made its debut on the fashion stage in 2001, presenting its first seasonal collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia. This was just the beginning of a remarkable journey that led the brand to showcase its captivating designs in renowned fashion capitals such as London and New York for over a decade.
At the core of sass & bide’s success lies the Design Collective, a team that draws inspiration from love, culture, and art to create the brand’s distinct style.
From ready-to-wear garments to denim, leather, accessories, and exclusive gallery pieces, each collection exemplifies sass & bide’s commitment to women who possess an ageless spirit and embrace a sophisticated and liberating style that seamlessly combines relaxation and adornment.
The addition of sass & bide’s boutique will offer a blend of creativity, style, and cutting-edge designs to fashion-forward individuals who appreciate the brand’s unique aesthetic.
