The laid-back family-owned locale will be dishing up Australian-Indian fusion dishes, with an array of options, from hearty breakfasts and delightful brunches to satisfying lunches, evening snacks, and mouthwatering dinners.
Drunk’n Monkey was born from a vision to blend traditional Indian culture with a touch of Western influence through their passion for food. Each dish features a quirky twist, designed to appeal to modern palates while staying true to the rich, traditional flavours of India. Delight in flavours from South India, Indo China or something from the roadside street specials.

Previously talking to Glam Adelaide, Owner Mani Randhawa, says he is pulling out all the stops with the new space, allowing customers an exclusive look at their chefs in action.
“For our second branch, we have planned to integrate a live kitchen in our restaurant so that our customers can get a look at what they are eating and enjoy the process,” Mani said.
With its stunning fit-outs, inviting ambience, and friendly staff, it promises to be a unique dining experience, featuring live food prepared straight from the Tandoor – a large vase-shaped oven, usually made of clay – right before diners’ eyes.
The vision behind Drunk’n Monkey has always been to create a welcoming space for all to come together and make lasting memories.
Since its inception on O’Connell Street in 2017, Drunk’n Monkey has captured the hearts and taste buds of Adelaide’s culinary enthusiasts, taking eaters on a tour of India’s rich and vibrant culinary landscape, offering beloved classics like creamy Butter Chicken, flavorful Pav Bhaji, crispy Dosas, and aromatic Biryanis.

As the grand opening approaches this weekend, the Drunk’n Monkey team is gearing up for a huge celebration, promising a lively atmosphere filled with good vibes, great company, and delicious eats.
Looking ahead, Randhawa reveals ambitious expansion plans, eyeing other locales within Adelaide to ensure everyone can experience the delicious food.
“In a few years, we plan to open branches in other areas of Adelaide, like the city and Glenelg. As a family business, we plan to expand our business in a much broader sense in the next few years,” he said.
To celebrate its grand opening, Drunk’n Monkey will offer 20–40% discounts on launch day with something to delight every palate.
