Do you love sifting through racks to find that perfect pair of jeans (already stretched and ready to wear) or that home décor piece that will match perfectly with your new coffee table?
You’re set to find something exciting with Australia’s biggest thrift market, ‘Fashion Thrift Society’ which is coming to Adelaide for its Australian tour.
The huge event held in April will host everything from clothing to trinkets. From pre-loved designer and hand-made women’s, men’s and gender-neutral clothing, to shoes and accessories to home décor, to art which will compliment everything else you score on the day.
There will be over 130 unique sellers with items that have been carefully curated for a great second-hand shopping experience with everything you want all in one place.
All about fashion, community and fun, the event was created in 2021 by Melody McCarthy who originally held the event in Perth most months. It soon became one of WA’s biggest markets.
Now it travels around Australia with the idea of providing a positive second-hand shopping day focussed on sustainable shopping and supporting small and local businesses.
The event is the perfect combination of fun times and productive activity, making it a great Sunday outing with a group of friends. A DJ will be playing all day to bring the right vibes for you to score that exact piece you’re searching for.
There will also be delicious food trucks, a tooth gem and body piercing booth, henna tattoo artist, a barber and loads of giveaways leading up to the event.
The ticketed event is all ages and anyone is welcome. If you’re just looking for something to do and have a browse, you can also get free entry for an hour from 2pm to 3pm.

When: Sunday 16 April 2023, 10am – 3pm
