In some good news for escape room enthusiasts, a new wit-testing venue is set to open its doors just 10 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD.
Rated as ‘Australia’s #1 fun thing to do’ in Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice for 2020, Canberra-based Riddle Room will open a brand new escape room for adventure-seekers in Hilton.
Having operated in Canberra for four years, Riddle Room will be bringing its escape puzzles to Adelaide audiences in the foreseeable future.
The escape room will consist of two escape puzzles, The Nightmare and The Dungeon to offer an immersive experience to teams of two to seven.
In The Nightmare, ‘the DreamWake Corporation is looking for volunteers to enter the mind of a young girl trapped in an endless nightmare. Can you find the cause, save her, and get out in time?’.
In The Dungeon, ‘gone mad with power, the old King decided he only wants the greatest minds to dwell within his kingdom. Will you pass his tests, or will you be banished forever?’.
In the grand-tradition of escape rooms, Riddle Room will prevent teams from using phones and computers in order to complete their chosen room in 60 minutes.
