After a successful 2012 Fringe season, Australia’s multi-award winning magician and only female mentalist Cath Jamison will make a spectacular return to the Adelaide Fringe Festival to present her latest show, In 2 Minds.

Internationally renowned as Australia’s leading female magician and only female mentalist, Cath Jamison’s inexplicable illusions has mystified streams of audiences worldwide for over twenty years; astounding the likes of acclaimed film director Tim Burton amongst many others.

With her latest mind-blowing feat, Jamison has set her magic tricks aside and produced an enthralling show that delves deep within the realm of mentalism, combining her extraordinary skills with nail-biting stunts, knockout theatrics and razor-sharp comedy.

In 2 Minds sees Jamison bend blades with the power of her mind, wield knives across the stage and tap into the collective conscience of her audience, while exploring concepts surrounding inherent female intuition, bizarre dating rituals and the female mystique.

The result is a thrillingly suspenseful onstage extravaganza that simultaneously fascinates and frightens audiences, yet leaves them thirsty for more.

According to Jamison, In 2 Minds showcases a side to her talents that audiences rarely get the chance to see.

“This is the third show that I have produced for the national Comedy and Fringe festivals, but unlike my other shows, In 2 Minds is focused on the world of mentalism, telepathy, precognition and clairvoyancy, with some very dangerous stunts thrown in,” she said.

“I believe we all have some element of intuition; women are particularly sensitive to it, but it’s whether you want to develop your self-awareness of it or choose to ignore it. In 2 Minds illustrates what can happen if you choose to develop that intuition.”

In 2 Minds will be held at Gluttony – The Piglet, corner of East Tce and Rundle Rd from February 21 – March 1 (excluding Monday, February 25), 9:15pm each night. Tickets $23 full, $18 concession.
