Today, much to the excitement of many SA shoppers, Harbour Town unveiled its brand new Nike Unite store! Not only will this become the second stand-alone Nike store to open in South Australia, it is also the third Nike Unite store to open in Australia, following the Gold Coast and Uni Hill (Victoria).
Nike Unite is a relatively new retail concept launched by the sporting brand, which looks to help people “connect more closely with sport” by delivering “new in-and-out-of-store experiences, rooted in serving people the most valuable sport destination in their community”.
Each retail store featured an in-store community wall to shine a light on the team and local partnerships, as well as design elements which attempts to tell the story of the local community.
In store, there is “Bra Fit by Nike Fit” services, where a team member will be able to help shoppers get the right bra and fit for different types of activities. You can also get your feet scanned by Nike Fit, so you can find your perfect pair of sneakers.
The new Nike Unite store will also have a Reuse-A-Shoe service, where you can drop off your worn-out sneakers and they’ll recycle them into Nike Grind.
In a nutshell, the new Nike Unite store is aspiring to celebrate the local community and keep families active by providing great value, footwear, apparel, and accessories.
