The 2016 Dining Program is a tasty component of The Australian Financial Review’s Australia’s Top Restaurants presented by Qantas, and it’s coming to South Australia this May!

Offering the nation’s food lovers an exclusive culinary adventure, with close to 100 events on offer across Australia from May 3-23 2016, the program highlights some amazing venues from the Top 500 Australian Restaurant list which was revealed in February.

Directors of the Australia’s Top Restaurants program and awards and renowned food critics and restaurant writers, Jill Dupleix and Terry Durack said the Dining Program reflects the diversity within the Top 500 list, which this year boasts over 100 new additions.

The thought and consideration the Top 500 put behind these events makes them truly unique and special experiences,” Dupleix said.

Durack says the magic is in the mix of fine dining classic offers, contemporary chef collaborations, ‘simple pleasures’, chats with the industry’s best, and behind-the-scenes experiences.

“Attending any one of these events is to take part in the great adventure that is dining in Australia in 2016,” Durack said.

Many of the new entries to the Top 500 list are also participating in the 2016 program including Kepos & Co (NSW), Silvereye (NSW), Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel (VIC), Taxi Kitchen (VIC), Alchemy Restaurant & Bar (QLD), Etsu Izakaya (QLD), Pearl (NT), the Hispanic Mechanic (SA) and The Flour Factory (WA).
