Authentic Indian venue Bombay Beat launches new catering arm to spice up events

Indian restaurant Bombay Beat are introducing a catering and private function offering to the people of SA.

As the holiday season approaches, South Aussies are planning their workplace festivities, family gatherings and catch-ups with loved ones to celebrate the end of another year. We all know that no Chrissy party is complete without a good feast to satisfy the tastebuds and fill the bellies of party-goers, and the popular Brooklyn Park eatery Bombay Beat is bringing its authentic Indian cuisine to festive functions and occasions worth celebrating across the state.

A new restaurant to the Western suburbs this year, Restaurant Manager Gurveen and the team at Bombay are excited to introduce their catering and private function offerings to the people of SA.

‘Whether you’re planning an indoor function, an outdoor celebration, or a small get-together for the holiday season or any other occasion, we can offer an Indian culinary experience like no other and really focus on customising your event to make it something special’, says Gurveen.

One unique offering is that Bombay Beat can host larger parties of 50 to 80 people without an added charge or minimum requirement of 100 people unlike some venues around the state.

The aromatic spices and flavours at Bombay Beat have been perfected over generations, from the villages of Lahore to Kasara, Delhi to Melbourne and have been spicing up South Australia since their first store opened in Murray Bridge back in 2020, and now with their second store in Brooklyn Park since April of this year.

‘At Bombay Beat, authenticity is at the heart of everything we do’, says Gurveen. ‘Our culinary philosophy revolves around preserving the traditional flavours and methods of Indian cuisine—our chicken tikka is smoky and succulent, our samosas are crispy and flavourful, our lamb kebabs are fragrant and tender, our veg manchurian is satisfyingly flavourful, and our dumplings (momos) are delicate and delicious.’

Jitender (the business owner) attributes the restaurant’s popularity to its true authentic taste and use of flavours. ‘Each dish is a tribute to the rich culinary heritage of India, and we take pride in maintaining the authenticity of every flavour.’

With an expansive menu perfect for all occasions and feasts, the team at Bombay Beat understands that Indian cuisine is renowned for its curries and, therefore, offers a delightful array of delicious curry options in vegetarian, chicken, lamb and selected seafood catering to all palates.

‘Customers are spoiled for choice with favourite curries like tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, vegetarian kadhai paneer, or one of our seafood curries, and our menu also allows people to customise the level of spiciness and heat—ensuring each guest’s preferences are met’, says Gurveen.

No Indian meal would be complete without the perfect accompaniments and a sweet ending, and the menu features a range of sides, including raita, salad and crispy papadum, along with sweet dessert options like gulab jamun, kulfi, and traditional Indian desserts that you’ll wanna save room for!

The team can also customise a drinks package for your next function with selected wines, beer and beverages included, and a BYOB option available for a small fee if hosting indoors. And, if you can’t escape the home or office for an Indian feast, pick up or delivery can also be booked in advance for your get-togethers.

‘We understand the significance of creating unforgettable memories, and our catering services are tailored to suit your unique needs’, says Gurveen. ‘Whether a customer is planning an indoor event within our inviting restaurant premises, envisioning an outdoor feast under the open sky or a banquet at their own house, our team is dedicated to ensuring every event unfolds seamlessly.’

When it comes to planning an event at Bombay Beat, the team is focused on personalisation to ensure it’s unique and captures the occasion and your needs perfectly.

‘We work closely with you to design an experience that aligns with your vision, providing exemplary service, no matter the venue.’
