School holidays are rarely a holiday for everyone, so Stamford Hotels and Resorts are letting kids take over, creating designated zones in Stamford Plaza Adelaide and Stamford Grand Glenelg properties where kids rule.
The program will be running from the 27th of September to the 15th of October at the Stamford Grand and the 30th of September to the 15th of October at the Stamford Plaza.
With a wide array of activities, including cooking, games and craft, kids of all ages will be entertained while parents get a chance to have a break and enjoy the luxurious amenities their hotels have to offer.
“This truly is a school holiday package designed for today’s world. It takes into account the busy lives of families where something as simple as quality time out together seems to be becoming harder to achieve. In planning the program we looked at the guilt factor faced by parents not having time to engage with their kids or involve them in quality activities,” says Jakki Govan, Stamford Hotels GM Sales and Marketing.
The program hopes to create opportunities for families to broaden their horizons and spend quality time together with kids eating free* across a range of Stamford’s food and beverage outlets, including their authentic Argentinean grill, La Boca Bar and Grill, which is home to Adelaide’s only traditional Asador fire pit. Families can enjoy a meal together, whilst allowing the adults to get away and enjoy a cocktail and some adult conversation.
The program has been dramatically restructured to allow kids and families to come and go as necessary within designated timeframes. This will allow families to combine Stamford’s school holiday sessions with exploring Adelaide and Glenelg’s diverse cultural offerings, including visits to the beach, art galleries and premier shopping districts in these areas.
