The two litters of baby meerkats who arrived at Monarto and Adelaide Zoo are making visitors fall in love.
Adelaide Zoo’s meerkat family has grown by five thanks to the adorable new litter birthed by parents Miney and Swazi on the morning of October 27!
The new pups are already being taken care of by their older siblings who were born in August.
This great news was closely followed by Monarto Zoo’s pregnant meerkat Eanie quickly followed suit, giving birth to four new pups on November 1.
Meerkat keeper (best job ever) Matt Golebiowski says that the new additions are becoming more and more adventurous now that they’re about a month old.
You can now see them during feed times, where the pups are munching on some mealworms, fruits and veggies.
