Bank Street Social is bringing Barossa reds to the dance floor this June long weekend for Vino Disco

Bank Street Social is bringing the Barossa to Adelaide’s dancefloor this June long weekend, with free tastings, rotating wines, late-night food and disco beats.

Adelaide’s underground wine and disco party is back this June long weekend, with Bank Street Social bringing the Barossa to the dancefloor for the second stop of its Vino Disco 10 Year Anniversary Tour.

Taking over the Hindley Street bar on Sunday 7 June, the Barossa Valley Edition will celebrate one of South Australia’s most iconic wine regions with free tastings, rotating pours, late-night food and a soundtrack built for anyone keen to turn a Sunday night into something a little more memorable.

The event forms part of Vino Disco’s 10-year anniversary tour, celebrating the regions and producers that have helped shape Bank Street Social’s love of wine, music and good times. After kicking off the anniversary series with an Adelaide Hills edition earlier in the year, the next stop shines a light on the Barossa, a region long loved for its big reds, old vines, historic producers and deeply rooted wine culture.

From 6:30pm to 8:30pm, guests can settle in for free tastings and discover a rotating selection of Barossa Valley wines before the night moves into full party mode, with disco and house-driven sounds carrying through until late.

It’s a fitting match for Bank Street Social, which has built its reputation around local drinks, late-night energy and the kind of underground atmosphere that makes a long weekend feel even better. The West End bar is known for championing South Australian wine, craft beer and regional produce, with its kitchen cooking late and DJs regularly bringing the venue to life across the weekend.

The Barossa theme gives this edition an extra local pull. Officially recognised as one of Australia’s most important wine regions, the Barossa is known globally for full-bodied Shiraz, old vines and generations of winemaking families. For one night, that cellar door spirit will be brought into the CBD, swapping vineyard views for disco lights, pizza and late-night pours.

Walk-ins are welcome, but bookings are recommended for those wanting to lock in a spot.
