It’s that time of year again when the annual BankSA Sea and Vines, Food and Wine Festival returns to McLaren Vale. This year’s festival will take place over the June long weekend from the 8th through to the 11th.
The festival aims to showcase the McLaren Vale region recognised for its wine district, with guests are encouraged to make the most of the event. Located just outside of Adelaide, the Fleurieu Peninsula is just a short drive so either make a day of it or stay the weekend.
The festival where the sea meets the vines will provide visitors a chance to try a range of seafood dishes as well as some vegetarian options with live bands and other entertainment on offer.
On the Sunday and Monday of the long weekend visitors have to opportunity to partake in experience sessions offered by a range of venues with tickets costing $20.
Relish and Delight are the other options provided by the festival where individual venues schedule and host sessions with individual pricing, viewable throughout the online program found at http://www.mclarenvale.info/
This year there will be a total of 28 venues involved in the festival and vine yards such as Aramis Wines, Fox Creek Wines and Paxton Wines.
