For all you adrenaline junkies, aviation aficionados or just fans of Top Gun: Maverick, The Barossa Airshow is set to take off again in April.

It will be a day packed with amazing aerial action, exciting entertainment and family fun in South Australia’s beautiful Barossa Valley.

In the hands of skilled pilots pushing the limits of aerobatic display, you’ll see planes dipping, soaring, spinning, rolling and generally defying the laws of gravity (certainly Tom Cruise approved).

The Barossa Airshow first took to the skies in 1998 and has been held every two years with a break in 2019. It has become a nationally recognised aeronautical and community event which is this year being hosted by The Rotary Club of Barossa Valley.

One of the major beneficiaries of the day will be Youth Barossa which is a volunteer group dedicated to assisting youth in the Barossa Valley.

Set to draw crowds, the biennial event will also have other attractions to enjoy throughout the day. Including market stalls filled with local produce and goods and special display exhibitions hosted by a range of aviation and other community groups.

You’ll also have the opportunity to view the aircrafts and chat to the pilots who have just pushed the limits of thrilling aerobatic display.

Throughout the course of the Barossa Airshow day you’ll also be able to enjoy a delicious lunch, drink or snack from one of the many catering outlets.

All you’ll need to do is purchase a ticket and bring along deck chairs and blankets to laze on, while the day of adrenaline activities unfold around you.
