The Barossa Valley Distilling Co’s epic Gin Hot Chocolate is back just in time for winter. The winter warmer is a collaboration between the distillery and their next door neighbours, Bean Addiction, who provide the chocolate powder to be fused with the house Barossa Distilling Co. gin and brandy mix.
If the combination of gin and chocolate isn’t quite enough, you’ll be pleased to know the deliciously sweet cocktail is also topped with whipped cream and garnished with even more chocolate powder.
This mouthwatering concoction is on sale now at their Cellar Door. The cocktail’s return is in light of crazy demand (understandably so) that the South Australian distillery saw following its last launch, and is available for the whole of the winter season.
But there’s another way to get it, too.
You see, during COVID, Barossa Distilling Co had to adapt. So they launched a Gin Hot Chocolate Pack so that you can indulge in this creamy, boozy goodness whilst rugged up on the couch.
For just $32, you can order a 200mL bottle of their Generations Gin and Brandy mix, along with premium Hot Chocolate Powder from Bean Addiction.
The Distillery is open five days a week, offering structured tastings and tasting paddles of their own award-winning gins (but you can also find a taste of great craft spirits from Australia and around the world). And it’s not just for gin lovers — The Distillery also has a great selection of whisk(e)y, rum, vodka, brandy, and liquors for you to try.
