Barossa Spring Fair set to bring free family fun this September

The Barossa Spring Fair is returning for its second year of fun-filled family fun! Expect a bouncy castle, face painting, and numerous Barossa Market Stalls.

The team behind the Barossa Spring Fair has just announced that the fun-filled family event will be returning this September, promising another day of activities, stalls, face-painting, games, and more.

After its inaugural fair last year, the Barossa Spring Fair is ready for Adelaideans to re-pack their picnic blankets and experience the very best that the Barossa has to offer.

The free event attracted approximately 2,000 people in its first year, so we can only image what goodies will be in store for the second time around.

People want a fun day out in the Barossa! It’s somewhere to go and something to do that’s free. COVID has been hard on people’s hip pockets, so its nice to bring this back,” said Henry.

“It’s exciting that we can actually hold things to this scale again.

“Now that the State Government has removed event COVID management plans, people can just turn up on the day – no tickets necessary.”

While an official list of participating stallholders and food trucks are yet to be released, organisers have confirmed that a few local favourites will be returning, such as The Australia Cider Co.

“General stores will be selling everything Barossa: cheese, wine, plant sellers, and I’m trying to get the bee-keeping mob back too!” said Henry.

Manor Beehives give people the opportunity to take home their own beehive, guiding people to produce their own honey and help their garden “spring” to life. After all, the Barossa Spring Fair is all about welcoming the new season with colour, flavour, and unique family experiences.

“We will be brining back the bouncy castle and face painting. We will also be selling some boho clothing, vintage jewellery, and more.”

The Barossa Spring Fair is set to go ahead on Saturday 17 September at the beautiful Barossa Adventure Station in Angaston.

Activities, market stalls and music will kick off from 10am on the day. Four-legged friends are also thoroughly welcomed, provided they are picked up after, and friendly towards events and people.
