Businesses around the nation are doing their bit to help raise funds for the bushfires that are raging across the whole country.
And now, thanks to the team behind BRKLYN, ‘Bars Fighting Fires’ is an event bringing together a bunch of Adelaide venues to help those in need.
For one day only on Thursday January 16, a cluster of the city’s most popular bars will donate $2 of a specific drink purchased to one of the many fire services battling the blaze’s across the country.
These services include the SA Country Fire Service (CFS), New South Wales Rural Fire Service (RFS) and the Country Fire Authority (CFA), as well as any other organisations that need help.
Each venue will choose their own product on the day and have their own separate donation jars to raise as much money as possible for the efforts of those fighting to save our land.
The bars currently on board are BRKLYN, Hains & Co, Never Never, Hellbound, The Stag, Nola, Fumo Blu, Distill, La Taberna, Howling Owl, Bar Torino, Malt & Juniper, 2nd & 6th, The Duke and Nineteen Ten, and the list is still growing.
The offer will run from 4pm until 11:30pm, so there is plenty of time to head into your favourite bar, grab a drink and donate to give your support to this national crisis.
