After a 15 year break, legendary electronic music duo Basement Jaxx are set to electrify stages across Australia and New Zealand with a 2026 live tour. Kicking off in February 2026, the tour is sure to bring fans a spectacular blend of music and performance art that has not graced these shores since 2010.
Beginning at the Electric Avenue Festival on February 27th, 2026. The tour will then head to major cities including Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne, and will include performances at iconic venues like the Sydney Opera House Forecourt and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. The tour will conclude with a show at Fremantle Prison on March 11th.
The announcement follows the duo’s celebrated return to live performances, which was marked with a spectacular set at Coachella 2025. Their shows have been characterised by a unique blend of music, dance, and visual effects, drawing accolades for their ability to create a carnivalesque atmosphere that celebrates dance music.
Ticket sales for the general public will open on October 31th at 10am. Mastercard cardholders will gain special presale access from October 29th, and My Live Nation members will have an exclusive presale window starting October 30th.
Basement Jaxx consists of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, who emerged from London’s underground club scene in the mid-1990s. Their music creatively merges various styles, from Latin rhythms to soul, shaping a distinctive sound that has won them international acclaim. Hits like “Where’s Your Head At” and “Romeo” have not only dominated the charts but have also become anthems in the dance music scene.
