Located on Level One of the Adelaide Central Plaza building in the heart of Adelaide’s Rundle Mall, the three retail/studio spaces will be available short term and rent free as a part of Renew Adelaide’s activation program.

That is great news for all you budding designers and retailers who haven’t had a shop space before!

Renew Adelaide are looking for unique local fashion designers and retailers who design and make their own clothes. In this creative/fashionable space, fashion collectives or complimentary fashion designers and retailers who will happily work together are being encouraged to apply to share a space.

The CEO of Renew Adelaide, Lily Jacobs says, “We’re really excited to be able to offer opportunities to fashion entrepreneurs that align with the positioning and reputation of one of Adelaide’s premier fashion retail destinations.”

If you are interested and this sounds like the opportunity you have been waiting for, an inspection of the shops is being held Thursday 22 July at 3.45pm. Don’t miss out on applying – the applications close Wednesday 29 July at 5pm.

“Locating the next wave of fashion start ups alongside the iconic David Jones will also offer a great experience to customers, who get the thrill of discovering something new, and add a fresh and dynamic feel to the space,” says Jacobs.

Working on providing creative enterprise in vacant space since 2010, Renew Adelaide, a not for profit organisation, has helped build opportunities while revitalising urban areas both socially and economically. Some of their current projects include bringing the Flower Nook to the newly revitalised Topham Mall and the continued revamp of the West End with the awesome Hungry Hippo Board Game Cafe (childhood memories)!
