Be transported across the globe for a night of Flamenco dancing, music and the flavours of Spain. Hoosegow are holding one of their famous themed dinner parties this Friday night, 31 March. The Flamenco Dinner will be engulfed in culture, fabulous live entertainment, Spanish food and wine.
This gem along Magill Road borrows it’s influences heavily from the history of Latin flavour profiles, with some shared relationships with Eastern/Asian style cooking as well, what’s important to appreciate is that it’s all cooked on charcoal. The menu is largely based on owners Ara and Shadia’s taste palates – their signature dish being the Chilli chicken (created by Ara). They also offer some great vegetarian and vegan options.
A themed dinner at Hoosegow however, is not complete without the live entertainment! Following a cracker performance and workshop series at WOMADelaide, Alma Flamenca will be putting on a special Flamenco dancing show for guests while they dine.
This restaurant consistently prove that good food is worth travelling beyond the square mile for and that doesn’t mean all the way to wine country or the beach. Our suburbs are just as well endowed with locations worthy of a weekend visit. Let it be known, it is not uncommon for a dance or music performance to sit comfortably amongst the dining experience here, treated with equal passion as the food they serve to complete the rich cultural experience on offer.
