Beat the heat with Soonta’s refreshing tea trio

Soonta’s refreshing range of teas is available in various locations around Adelaide, which includes a White, Black, and Sparkling Peach tea.

You might know Soonta for their delicious Vietnamese fusion food such as banh mis and bun bowls, but did you know they also have a range of teas?

The refreshing Soonta tea variants include a White, Black, and Sparkling Peach tea and have been very popular since they were introduced. They are ready to drink, served in a can and are a great option for those on-the-go who are seeking a refreshing beverage to complement their active lifestyles.

Soonta Marketing Manager Alison Mancini spoke highly of all the tea variants, but one emerged as her favourite.

“The sparkling peach is amazing, it’s so good, it is one of my favourites. The teas are served cold in the fridge, so coming into Spring and Summer, it’s the perfect refreshing Spring and Summer drink for everybody,” she says.

In recent success, the Soonta teas are now available in most Tony & Mark’s stores, including Golden Grove, Brickworks, Glenunga, Unley Shopping Centre, Newton Village- which are nicely spread out around Adelaide so you have lots of options as to where you can get your Soonta tea fix.

The Sparkling Peach tea is similar to a peached ice tea but sparkling, fizzy and very refreshing, while the White and Black teas aren’t fizzy- but they are just as delicious. Alison says both are on the sweeter side compared to standard black and white teas, but you can still taste the authentic hints of tea.

“They are definitely full of flavour; they taste next level compared to just having a black or white tea with some water. They are an upgrade to your classic tea as they have a sweet, fun twist,” she says.

Alison says Soonta has plans in the pipeline for their tea range, such as sugar free options and expanding the range to include a Vietnamese iced coffee, which will also be served in Soonta’s signature can form.

“There’s a big market in teas, they’re really popular and the tea sector is growing. It caters towards our demographic and we saw an opportunity; we’re targeting Gen Z, Millennials, and they do well in our stores. Gen Z and Millennials are buying our tea and we saw there was a market for it,” Alison says.

“It really targets our demographic and stands within our brand to be fun and refreshing. It is also a popular add on at all our stores with the meals we sell.”

If you’re lucky, you might even be able to score a Soonta tea on one of their promotional giveaway days. The Soonta staff has fun with these, such as recently hosting a scavenger hunt at Rundle plaza and everyone who participated got a free Soonta tea.
