The Kitchen at Bec Hardy Wines will launch an exciting new menu concept this June long weekend, with a brand new head chef taking the helm.
Recently appointed Head Chef Connor Bishop has curated two different feed me menus for guests to enjoy, featuring local, seasonal and sustainably-sourced ingredients.

To kick off your dining experience, indulge in the aromatic Rosemary Focaccia accompanied by herb-infused butter, a tantalizing combination that sets the tone for the feast to come.
The Crème Fraiche Tartlet, elegantly presented with chives cornett and ‘Choice’ mushrooms, is a burst of flavors in a single bite. For a unique twist, savour the House-made Steamed Buns, a delightful fusion of textures and fillings that will captivate your palate.
As you move on to the main course, you’ll be faced with a difficult decision. Will you choose the succulent Braeburn Farms Duck, perfectly complemented by caramelized shallots and Lot 94 grapes? Or perhaps the Mignon of Braised Lamb Shoulder, accompanied by potato, sugar snaps, and a luscious jus?

Vegetarians are not forgotten, with the Mushroom Agnolotti stealing the show with its delicate flavors of ‘Choice’ mushrooms and Parmigiano Reggiano.
No meal is complete without a tantalising dessert, and the seasonal menu does not disappoint. Prepare to be tempted by a delightful creation that highlights the best flavors of the season.
Hailing from Cornwall, UK, Connor embarked on a life-changing journey when he migrated to Australia in 2006 and for the past 12 years, he has made the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula his home.
With a passion for hospitality kindled at the tender age of 14, Connor’s culinary career took flight. The reputation of his expertise spread across the McLaren Vale wine region, where he served in several esteemed restaurants.

Notably, Connor showcased his mastery as the pastry chef at the award-winning Maxwell Wines restaurant. His unwavering dedication to local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients perfectly complements the bountiful produce of the Fleurieu Peninsula; something that he will showcase at Bec Hardy Wines.
Both menus have the option to add a wine matching experience, or you could simply order your favourites from the Bec Hardy or Pertaringa ranges of wine.
Don’t miss out! Book now for the launch weekend and enter to win a $150 dining voucher for your next visit.
