Already announced as part of Harvest Festival, Handsome Tours have revealed additional Australian tour dates for alternative group Beirut this November. This tour will make the band's third visit to Australia.
Multi-instrumentalist Zach Condon began experimenting with his worldly sounds under the moniker of Beirut in his early teens, releasing his debut album Gulag Orkestar in 2006 to international praise. Following 2007’s The Flying Club Cup, a concept album dedicated to France, Condon released his 2011 LP The Rip Tide, written in isolation during a snowy winter.
Marking a stark change in emotional direction, The Rip Tide still maintains Beirut's inimitable sound and aesthetic.
