What’s better than an afternoon tea with a scone with jam and cream? Here in South Australia, we are lucky to be blessed with many delicious, fluffy scones.
But perhaps the best scone in the state is the CWA’s offering. In fact, if you’ve been to the Royal Adelaide Show, you’ll know how good these tasty treats are. If you’ve been missing them… you’re in luck.
The South Australian Country Women’s Association’s scone pop-up will return to the Adelaide Central Market at the Community Kitchen on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June.

The much-loved community organisation will return for 2 days only to sell their famous freshly made scones, homemade jam and scone mix.
SACWA State President, Ila Neighbour said: “our scones are always very sought-after amongst
Market shoppers. We’re delighted to be offered the opportunity to showcase our Association and
connect with the wider community once again”.
This year’s SACWA Market Pop-up promises another delicious selection of homemade scones and
jam. Based on their previous success in 2023, shoppers can expect thousands of freshly baked scones and jam prepared by the dedicated team of SACWA volunteers.
All funds raised will go directly to SACWA, furthering its mission to support the welfare and living conditions of women and children across the state.
