Ben Hazlewood From ‘The Voice’ Comes To Adelaide

Ben_HazelwoodOne of Australia’s most talented rising vocalists and song writers; Ben Hazlewood hasn’t stopped since capturing the nation’s attention on hit TV show The Voice and will be performing on Saturday night, 27 April at Colonnades.

This week Ben announced his new EP ‘Loveless’ and lead single ‘Parachute’ to hit iTunes on Tuesday, 23 April. Over the past year Ben has dedicated his time and energy to writing songs, a passion which he has pursued since he was 12 years of age. The EP is made up of six dynamic tracks, and is a reflection of the vibrant and mature artist that Ben has developed into since being coached by US pop-rock musician, Joel Madden, on The Voice last year.

The first single from the EP, Parachute, is a powerful, anthemic song that was inspired by an epic friendship of Ben’s. One of the most devastatingly beautiful tracks on the EP is the title track, ‘Loveless’. Ben wrote this song with Amy Meredith’s front man Christian Lorusso and guitarist Joel Chapman.

“This EP has been a long time in the making and I am so excited that the time is finally here. I have been looking forward to this moment since I wrote my first song. After writing for so many years in London and constantly writing after my time on The Voice, I feel that this is by far my strongest body of work. This music has come from a place of love, loss, pain, happiness and growth and I hope that people will relate to my stories,” says Ben.
