They have a cult following, and now Adelaidians can finally wrap their mouths around Betty’s Burgers.

They have a cult following, and now Adelaidians can finally wrap their mouths around Betty’s Burgers.

Founded in December 2014 in Noosa, Betty’s Burgers and Concrete Co is a 1950s-inspired burger shack serving up classic burgers, fries and shakes that people are more than willing to queue for.

They’ve expanded to 11 restaurants across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, and now it’s South Australia’s turn.

The Adelaide Betty’s Burgers will open on Rundle Street before Christmas.

“It seems like we have been waiting forever to find the perfect spot to open in Adelaide. We are now only months from sharing the Betty’s experience with our fans in Adelaide this summer,” says founder David Hales.

“We aren’t an ordinary burger restaurant. Our queues are a testament to the overall quality of food and experience. We are quietly confident the Betty’s experience will impress discerning South Australians foodies looking for a relaxed dining experience with a holiday vibe.”

While the burgers and sides themselves are more than enough reason to check Betty’s out, the cherry on top of the menu is the concretes.

Not familiar with the greatness that is a concrete? Picture this: rich and creamy custard ice cream which is then mixed with your choice of delicious treats, from New York Cheesecake, to chocolate chip cookie dough, glazed donuts and beyond. Trust us, it’s every bit as good as it sounds.

The new store will create 50 jobs across front and back of house.

Adelaide’s Betty’s Burgers is opening at 211-215 Rundle Street.
