It’s time to shake off those winter chills and polish your dancing shoes! Big Easy Radio is hosting its own Blues style party this November.
Prepare yourself a day filled with blues and booze at the popular Aldinga cellar door, with Big Easy Blues showcasing incredible local talent, wine and produce all day long on November 6.
Kicking off at 11:30 am, Big Easy Blues will feature a star-studded line-up of twelve South Australian musicians including Triple J favourite Timberwolf, Ollie English and indie duo Wanderers.
Other talent includes Max Savage, Dojo Rise and Los Palms and more, playing sweet tunes all day and all night. Enjoy local produce and Big Easy Radio’s array of boutique wines as you relax in the welcomed Fleurieu sunshine.
As South Australia continues to feel the ongoing ripple effects of COVID restrictions, it’s understandable that the state’s flourishing creatives community is feeling a little weathered.
Big Easy Blues is celebrating SA artists and the thriving community across the Saturday event, paying homage to the hard work and incredible talent of individuals who have kept SA’s live music scene alive these past 18 months.
“As an ode to summer, this event Big Easy Blues, celebrates how we live, where we live and how fortunate we are,” says the event listing.
“They say you have to live the blues to sing the blues…seems fitting right about now.”
With current capacity restrictions, tickets are limited to Big Easy Blues event so it’s recommended to snap up tickets quickly.
Labelling themselves self-confessed ‘Pagans of the good times’, the team at Big Easy Radio know a thing or two about hosting a wicked weekend of fun. The rustic Aldigna cellar door frequently hosts acoustic jam sessions at their seafoam coloured shack.
As we inch closer to a sizzlin’ hot summer, there’s never been a better time to sit back, relax and enjoy a daytime soiree of local talent and wine.
