When you’re hankering for some comfort food, it’s time to head for the Hills. We’ve found the ultimate alternative to fast food that’s surely going to hit the spot!
Lost In A Forest, the wood oven wine lounge in Uraidla, has a special creation that’s well worth the drive.
The restaurant has announced their The McSue Me™, a Big Mac-inspired pizza created by Chef Cal. We’re talking cream cheese sauce, ground beef, beer reduction onions, secret sauce, pickles, lettuce and sesame seeds, and our mouths are watering.
If pickles on pizza don’t tickle your fancy, don’t worry – the Uraidla spot has lots more to offer. Their menu is a creative culinary journey with creations like swineapple (that’s slow cooked pork belly with a pineapple hit) or seoul train (ramen-spiced popcorn and kimchi).
The venue is cosy and quant with an exceptional drinks list to match. And there’s no better time to go, as their fire pit is up and running again after being stolen two years ago. So if you’re up for a McDonald’s pizza and a warm fire pit, it’s time to get Lost In A Forest.
They’re open Thursdays and Fridays for 90 minute sittings at 5pm, 6.30pm and 8pm, with Saturday and Sunday all day trade.
Find Lost In A Forest is in the Adelaide Hills, at 1203 Greenhill Road, Uraidla.
