Adventurous beer drinkers, this one’s for you! Big Shed Brewing has just launched its new Imperial Sour Series with Raspberry Imperial Sour.
Not for the faint-hearted, this beer is probably their most intense sour yet. Get ready to pucker your lips, wrinkle your face and squint your eyes!
The new drink has been brewed with over 400kg of raspberries. The result is a vibrant and punchy sour that is refreshing, tart and berry delicious.
The Raspberry Imperial Sour uses the same base as all Big Shed Brewing’s other sour beers. This one however is extra boozy with a 7% ABV.
Drinkers can expect a lot more tartness and of course, the raspberry flavour with a clean, dry, tart finish and raspberry linger.
The drink has a vibrant and punchy sour that is rather refreshing with a light body and copious bubbles.
Big Shed Brewing recommends drinking it as an aperitif or pairing it with seafood starters. It also goes well at the end of the meal with fresh fruits.
Big Shed Brewing is known for its crazy beer and cider ranges with quirky and fun names.
These include their classic range with titles F Yeah, Californicator, Jetty Jumper and Cherry Popper. Their limited beers follow the same quirky titles and include more sour options too.
The brewing company started from brewing in a Barossa shed in 2002 and eventually expanding to a small warehouse in Royal Park. This is where they released their first beer FrankenBROWN in 2013.
The team opened their tasting bar and kitchen comprising of six taps, as well as food that goes with their beer and can be eaten with your hands.
Their venue on Port Road is used as a live music, event and function venue as well as a space to slinging brews and food to eager locals and visitors alike.
