You may know Big Shots Café from its quaint seaside location in Brighton where they serve up insta-worthy brunches, lunches and cocktails. The popular eatery has gone from strength to strength in the past few months with extended opening hours and the addition of bottomless brunch and now, they’re doubling their offering with the announcement of a brand new location!
Located in Lonsdale, the second Big Shots site is more than just a café, it’s also a fully-fledged coffee roastery offering visitors a truly unique experience. Big Shots will be roasting two varieties of their own beans right there on site, which can be purchased to enjoy in-store and in take-home packs.
The two beans on offer: Boom Shaka Latte, which is perfectly designed for milky coffees and Boom Shaka Blacka whose flavours are best served straight up.
The new venue is a vibe in every sense of the word. As you enter, the industrial meets gaming feel hits you, courtesy of the cool retro pinball games and artsy wall finishings. The Big Shots food truck which used to grace the Happy Valley Reservoir on weekends is neatly parked on location, serving up a breakfast-inspired menu with snappy snacks, freshly pressed juices and coffees.
The aesthetic is really what sets the new Big Shots Café apart from other eateries in the area. It’s full of cosy booth seating, green foliage and bright pops of colour with fully functioning pinball machines that have the ability to turn any regular brekky date into a all-out sports comp.
The brand-new facility is located at U1/57 O’Sullivan Beach Road, Lonsdale and is now open from Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2pm, with grab and go food options and coffee until 9am, and full food truck menu from 9am.
