City dwellers and train commuters can now enjoy delicious bagels, toasties and quality coffee as Biggie’s Bagels have branched out from their original Daw Park cafe to a new CBD location.

The Biggie Bagel New York inspired menu is available to grab-and-go with an array of quick and easy bagels and toasties to take on your commute, or, diners can slow down the pace and enjoy a leisurely experience with brunch style breakfast and lunch options to be enjoyed in the beauty of one of Adelaide’s historical buildings, the old train station building which opened in 1856.

Don’t forget if arriving to Biggie’s Bagels from the train station’s northern end, to pass under the recently modernised curved arches and gold-lighted glass panes of the entrance way. New developments has recently seen this drab space of the underground thoroughfare come to life, and as more and more cafes follow the movements of Biggie Bagels and take up space here, it will see this space evolve and pull in more business, not only from people using public transport, but from those seeking a unique dining experience.

This also follows from the renovations and upgrades of the Riverbank Precinct and Festival Plaza, a notable one being the $330 million expansion of Adelaide Casino.

When next stepping off the platform and looking for a quick eat or a place to rest your legs, my recommendations are the smoked salmon bagel and the Ruben sandwich from Biggie’s Bagels. While you’re there grab a great cup of coffee sourced from local roaster Patio who head barista Rich Kirby has worked with to create two different house coffee blends to offer customers.

Keep an eye out on Biggie’s Bagels via their Facebook.

The Adelaide Train Station is located at 125 North Tce, Adelaide.
