Bird in Hand Cellar Door to Open in China

birdinhandThe wealthy coastal city of Dalian in China’s North Eastern Laioning province will soon be home to a replica Bird in Hand Cellar Door.

The 3 level, 2000 square metre building has been designed by leading Adelaide architects William Burton. Representatives were flown to China by Bird in Hand importer Auspride Pty Ltd who have exclusive distribution rights in the three North West Provinces.

The facility is positioned next door to Ferrari, the Dalian Expo Centre, and the largest square in China Tien Tien.

Actual vines from the iconic Adelaide Hills vineyard have been dug up and shipped over to decorate the Cellar Door which opens in the first week of November 2010.

“China is the fastest growing market for ultra premium wine and an awakening giant for the Australian Wine Industry” says Bird in Hand Executive Director Andrew Nugent.

The project optimizes Bird in Hand’s position in the Chinese market by embedding the brand directly into the Chinese culture.

Bird in Hand currently distributes to 34 countries globally and is a shining star in very competitive industry.
