Blackwood Brewhouse & Distillery is opening for the second time this season on Saturday 23 April for tastings of its very limited small batch beers and gin.
The distillery will be hosting one hour tasting sessions open to no more than 14 adults at any one time, so bookings are essential if you’d like to join.
The opening will be this Saturday 23 April, from 11:30 am to 5:30pm, so you can relax and enjoy a cold beverage in the sun all day long.
Five Blackwood Brewhouse beers will be available on tap on the day, and if beer is not your preferred alcoholic beverage, four in-house gins will also be available.
You may like to try its pale ale, ‘The Frog Stomp’, which is a Belgian farmhouse-style ale with a light body, slightly tart finish, and distinctive spicy notes.
Or perhaps you like a sweeter beer, in which case the ‘Nippy’ Neipa is a must-try; a New England-style IPA with prominent tropical and citrus flavours, and low residual sweetness.
For those who fancy a gin on the day, you cannot go past their signature gin; a citrus-forward London-dry vapour-infused gin with 16 different botanicals.
If you fall in love with the alcoholic delights, and we’re sure you will, limited 500ml cans of beers and bottles of gin will be on sale for takeaway.
Plus, the brewhouse and distillery will be selling gift packs with two 200ml gin bottles, which make the perfect gift for a fellow gin lover.
A tasting at Blackwood Brewhouse & Distillery is a unique experience because unlike most other breweries, they only brew very small quantities and once they’ve run out, they’re out.
