One of South Australia’s most celebrated collaborations this summer has officially landed – the launch of the new Travis Head Wine Range, created in partnership with the iconic Bleasdale Winery in Langhorne Creek. It’s a coming together of two homegrown greats: Travis Head, a national cricket hero with an ever-growing international fanbase, and Bleasdale, one of Australia’s oldest and most awarded wineries.
The range has launched to an exceptional response, striking that rare balance between premium craft and genuine local storytelling. Available throughout the summer of cricket and into the Ashes, the collection blends sport, wine, heritage and community pride in a way few partnerships can.
For Head, this project has been years in the making. Far from a simple endorsement, he’s been hands-on across every part of the process – from selecting the wines to designing labels, shaping distribution strategy and ensuring the final product reflects his commitment to quality.
“I wanted to produce a really nice, high-quality wine that people could enjoy and be proud to share,” he said.

Each label marks a moment in Head’s career, transforming milestones into bottles that cricket fans and wine lovers can appreciate alike. The collection even features personal career notes on the back labels, including nods to Head’s Test debut and baggy green number 454. The result? A range that honours both his sporting journey and Bleasdale’s incredible winemaking heritage.
“This has been such an exciting process, to go from the vineyard to the bottle and now see it ready to be enjoyed by fans across the country and hopefully around the world.”
The range includes six wines crafted collaboratively by Head and Bleasdale’s award-winning team:
• 2025 ‘Trav’s Sav’ Sauvignon Blanc
• 2025 ‘The Hill’ Adelaide Hills Chardonnay
• 2025 ‘S.C.G.’ Rosé (Shiraz, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer)
• 2025 ‘M.C.G.’ (Malbec, Carignan, Grenache)
• 2025 ‘Barrel 137’ Grenache
• 2024 ‘Barrel 454’ Shiraz
From the naming to the varietal choices, every wine tells its own story. Some champion famous Test match venues; others honour standout innings. One bottle, ‘Barrel 454,’ pays tribute to his baggy green number, while others symbolise defining cricketing moments – from his explosive Ashes century at the Gabba to his unforgettable 137 off 120 balls in the 2023 ODI World Cup final.

What elevates this partnership even further is its celebration of South Australia. Bleasdale’s Langhorne Creek home is not only one of the state’s oldest wine regions but also one of its most revered. Bringing Head into the fold creates a uniquely local collaboration, one that celebrates sporting excellence and world-class winemaking in equal measure.
The wines will roll out nationally during the summer of cricket, with discussions already underway to expand into the UK and India – two markets where Head’s star power continues to rise.
